Social Like Games For Google+?

Google is really hot on the heels of Facebook. Aside from teasing us netizens with the search for illusive Google+ invites, fresh news just surfaced that the search giant is developing a social like game platform for Google+. As this was one of the key features that made Facebook what it is now, I’m pretty sure this will add more hype to the platform that is Google+.

Below is an image of a code that is slowly circulating the net which clearly includes a reference to Google+ Games. While they have the option to either include or scrap this on Google+ before it is publicly released, not including such an option would be illogical.

Holy Tweet!

Yup! Even the Pope wants to get social like us.

On June 29, the head of the Roman Catholic Church using an iPad tweeted for the first time. The Pope sent a 129 message to the twitterverse about the launch of the Vatican news website News.va, and ofcourse praised the son of God.

MySpace Sold!

Was about to sleep when I came across a news feed that I think was long overdue. As of writing this, social networking site MySpace has been sold to the tune of $35 million to advertising network Specific Media.

MySpace CEO Mike Jones says that he is leaving the company, so will most of his staff. Though an email, Mike said;

“In conjunction with the deal, we are conducting a series of restructuring initiatives, including a significant reduction in our workforce. I will assist Specific with the transition over the next two months before departing my role as MySpace CEO.”
