Google+ Project: Social Tools

Google has officially announced the closed Beta for Google+, which is a collection of social tools. Is this their answer against top social media site Facebook?

For months now after the launch of Google's +1 button, pundits have been speculating what Google is up to. Though industry top dogs outside of Google are in agreement that the search engine giant is leaning towards the creation of their own "social network", there was no concrete evidence that they were, well that is until now.

Though we are yet to personally use and experience Google+, they have released several videos which gives us netizens a sneak peek as to what they would be hatching soon.

For now, we could only image what impact (if any) Google+ may have on social media, and the internet as a whole. So if I were you, go and create or update your Google Profile.
