How To Manage Your Twitter Feeds?

One of the top social media websites in the internet has got be Twitter. With a user base that number in the millions, it is no wonder that Twitter is a must have for any company or individual that wants to make its presence felt on the net.

But as the number of your followers grow, so are the number of rubbish tweets you get from people. Though users have the option of not following people, doing so can limit the number of individuals following you back. A catch 22 as you can see.

Luckily, there are numerous ways one can address this issue, and that is through the use of third party filtering tools. These tools lets you filter, search, and even check who's following. The end result is you having more power on reading tweets from people that you really are interested in, and also the ability to unfollow those who do not return the favor.

As I’ve said, there are numerous third party apps out there, but for this article, I’m just going to name 3 of my favorites.

1. ManageFlitter

Manage Filter is a platform that give you the ability to check who you followed and which of them didn’t return the favor. It also informs you of inactive accounts, and the ability to search your own stream so as to find what you want.

2. Twalala

The best feature of Twalala is its ability to “mute” tweets. I have to admit, some people just babble about things on Twitter. If you’re like me, there are days where you just want to read things that are worth your time, and not see a tweet about cupcakes, or birthdays.

3. Destroy Twitter

Don’t you just love its name? Destroy Twitter allows its users to filter contacts and hashtags. This allows for a more “customized” Twitter experience. It’s like putting on a headphone while you’re walking down a busy sidewalk.

These three applications will surely enhance your Twitter experience, and make the use of one of the top social media platform less of a drag.

No more tweets like “woke up #listening to #music my #boyfriend's band played at the #club last night”.
